Ok, I took the gas tank off to put in my K&N filter in. Tank shook a little by force, not when riding. So I took it off and thought I would check on the o rings that I did not notice before out of the intake. So the intake box went on a little tighter, still some gaps between the screws. Put the tank back on and it still moves a little by force, Should I worry about this. Does anybody have an idea of what is going on.

    Thank you.

PS got my gaskets in and should have the headers on soon and I will see how it sounds with stock cans.

There should be gasket washers on the front and back of the tank. The Tank on my 5th gen is sturdy at the front, but is loose at the back due to being mounted on a hinge for ease of maint.

Ok, gaskett washers. They go into the whole and the bolt goes through them plus they end of them look like washers. Correct? I did see two on the from which would always fall out, I never noticed the back ones, probably because they never came out, I will check for them now. But as far as how the tubes are positioned underneath the tank don't make a difference. Or the top of the air box the way I described it above should have no effect on it?

Well I have no idea, the front does not shake but moves when I shake the tank, It probably did it before and I never noticed it. Oh well. Making something out of nothing I guess.
