I apoligize for the poor pics but it's all my mobile phone could do in my limited light...

The fuse to the right of the battery with the red wires on it... How warm should that get? Working on the bike earlier it was idling and I put my hand around that fuse and it was warm... not hot mind you, but just noticably warm. I'm assuming that it would get warm, but just thought I'd ask.

Also whith the bike idling in neutral, if you work the clutch lever can you hear the clutch engage/disengage on yoru bike? On mine with the clutch pulled it's only engine noise and when I release the clutch I here a what appears to be a minor noise, I'm assuming just the clutch spinning in nuetral.

I'm probably just being over sensitive about both of these, I just wanted to either confirm or discount it.

Any t houghts on these two mild concerns of mine?

    Thanks as always.

The clutch noise is normal and common to all bikes. Do you know if the wiring harness update was done to this bike?

It's had the applicable recall's done for the year, I got the paperwork for them with the bike. One was the wiring harness and the other was something with the rear fender rattling or something like that.

When I say that wire is warm I don't mean hot at all, it's probably just above where you'd be albe to notice it being warm by touch. Of course it was about 30 degrees in my garage and anything would probably feel warm at that point.

That particular connection has a 30A fuse? If so I would expect to feel a bit of heat on it. I'd say normal.

Which bike? What year ? How many miles?

A lot of facts left out. I would not worry about these minor
things unless there is something actually malfunctioning.
There is a lot of heat in that engine area with all that stuff packed in together like that.
You should hear a Ducati dry clutch!! Talk about noisy!!!

Also about noise. Modern bikes have been quieted down a lot
by noise regulations, so you will tend to notice internal noises a lot, especially if it has a fairing.
