I have a 2006 VFR800A and Im trying to find the fuse box so, I can check if the radiator fan fuse is blown, but I haven`t had any luck locating it. I know on most bikes the fuse box is under the seat, I check there but didn`t see it..
Where else could that thing be? I only saw 2 wires that had fuses, 1 that was on the battery and 1 more located on the right side near the panel.
Would it have several fuses in the box like a car?

YOU NEED an "Owners Manual" and need to study it cuz you should know lots more about your bike.

Anytime a fuse blows you need to find out why??

Indeed. It did fail for a reason if that is your issue,if it is you must inspect the fan assembly to insure it is not contacting radiator. If it fell over on that side it could be hitting and then bigger problem to follow shortly.

Correct me if i'm wrong..but the fact that the fuse has actually blown has not been established.

Indy.... I'm assuming with the name you live in Indy. I'm going to X-Fest this weekend and will be in Indy both Saturday and Sunday. If you want a hand or have any trouble and want someone to look at things for you, I can drop by no problem. Just shoot me a PM.

Fuses for the ABS are under the left meter panel as Toe said. It can be tricky to get off. Be patient with it.

If fuse is OK then probable culprit is the thermoswitch, known to be a frequent failure.

    Thanks guys..
Yea, i did drop it on the left side a while ago..
and when I noticed coolant leaking I took off the radiator to check it out.
and saw that the fan had been rubbing up against the radiator.

I check out the fan fuse, but that wasn`t the issue..
Squirrelman you said it could possibly be the thermoswitch.
how hard is that to fix?

Indy... The thermoswitch is a snap. Sounds like you have a bigger issue though. If the fan has been rubbing and you say that you are noticing a leak... you are probably looking at a hole in the radiator. This is the "bigger problem to follow shortly" that Toe was speaking of.

Pressure testing it would be the best way to confirm a leaky radiator. You're not the first to have this happen after having it lay down on the left side. Seems to be a somewhat common issue depending on how hard it goes down and how it lands. If you can't test it, any radiator shop should be able to do it for you. If it is leaking, depending on the damage a radiator shop might be able to repair it... or you might be looking at a new one.

    Meatloaf...thanks for that info.

I had my friend pressure test it and found out that it was the radiator. I just took it off and sent it to Mylers Radiator Repair, since they do motorcyle radiator repair and alsothe owner owns a VFR800 so who better to know how to fix it ya know..

the reason why i wanted to check the fan fuse, is because normally my fan used to kick on at about 210 or so..but when I noticed it started leaking, it would get up to 235 and I wouldn`t hear the fan kick on. As you can defintely tell Im pretty new at this, but definitely learning alot from all of you guys great advice..
