Hey guys, I've been trolling the forums now and again since I bought my 98 VFR about a month ago. The other day I had an issue with unloading the bike after returning home from a trip to Deals Gap. Had some inexperienced people helping me get her out of the truck and to make a long story short, the bike fell on the right side and hit the bed rail. There's no visible damage to the bike, but now the brake lights don't work. Anyone think the two may be related? I'm trying to find the fuse box with the brake light fuse in it, but I cannot find my service manual to save my life. Any help would be appreciated.
IIRC the fuse panel is under the rubber flap, under the seat. About the brake lights, are they out with both the pedal and the lever? Any chance the wires came unplugged from the lever switch... the lever wire on mine got caught on something once and came uplugged. You can troubleshoot the switches out of the equation by disconnecting the wires at the back and touching them together to see if the lights come on. With the wiring diagram in the manual, shouldn't be too difficult to troubleshoot, its a fairly simple circuit.
