Hello all and thank you for having this site available.

I did some searching through the boards but didn't see a solution to my problems.

I picked up a 83 750 that runs and is in pretty good shape. My intentions were to fix it up and resell in the spring, but as I learn about the bikes history I may keep it.

The last guy disconnected the fuel lines and ran it off a separate tank due to rust in gas tank.

I cleaned out the rust and sealed the tank. From what I can tell the gas flows from the rear of the tank, to the fuel filter, to the fuel pump.. Up and across to a nipple on the left carburetor... Is that correct?

My throttle side handlebar isn't locked in. By that I mean the throttle tube and switch housing moves freely along the handlebar.

I've taken apart the switch housing but don't see any studs or places where the switch housing would secure into the handlebars.

So 1 is the routing for the hose line to carbs
2 is how to secure the throttle switch housing.

I really do appreciate your help.. Thank you. 20161117_162622.jpg

do u still have the original fuel pump or is it non genuine... U have the right idea about how the lines work and run.. are the lines form housing or standed aftermarket fuel line.. Have just recently had to redo all my fuel lines and pump

If the original fuel pump was made by Mitsubishi than its original haha.

I have to test to make sure it works but I think it may need to be replaced

Thank you for your reply, I will connect the fuel line to the left carb nipple

they are a Mitsubishi brand. However I have replaced mine with a pump from a zxr9 and its also a mitsi pump just the lines don't have the upturn that ours do. just means rerouting the fuel lines to make it work.
