evenin all, havein sum issues with the fuel pump getting power on my 98 800 fi.

had been driving when it just died on me and the fi light came on, pushed it home( luckily was only about a mile away) managed to start it once or twice on the way but it wouldn't run for more than a minute or two.

since i got it home i've checked the pump itself with a direct connection to the battery and found it working fine.every connection relay and fuse i could come across seemed fine but still the pump wont run when the on off switch is turned on.

any suggestions before it goes to a mechanic?

    yes it is
i wound up having to cut out the blue connector all together and hard wire all 18 wires together. pain in the ass, but problem solved.
