Hello folks, I have a problem with my 1997 vfr750. The problem is that the engine shut down and the fuel gets ejected from a tube between the carburetors. But when I close the fuel tank valve, the engine runs smooth until he doesn't have any more fuel. When I open the valve the engine start choking. ;( I just had a look at the fuel pump and it seemed working correctly. Tomorrow, I plan on looking under the carburetor to see what I can find, but I don't know what I should look at. If needed I could get some pictures tomorrow to get more specific.
+1^^ on the inlet valves not closing. If the bike has been sitting up for awhile it may be fuel issue, or dirt or debris in the tank getting thru and blocking the valve open. http://vfrworld.com/forums/showthread.php/22449-Cleaning-carbs
