fuel pressure regulator

    i caught a thread on another forum about a fuel pressure regulator being installed to correct the lean running vfr...... anyone heard of such a thing? imo if the power commander is resolving the issue i can't figure out why you would install a pressure regulator.

    Well, I'm not too sure how the engine mapping works on these but if the ECU is expecting a certain fuel pressure because that's what the factory regulator is set @, boosting your fuel psi would correct a lean condition. But running too rich is not good either.
