I've deleted the tach and modified the cluster housing. Tested the fuel and temp gauge, finding the fuel gauge is giving me issues. Fuel tank float resistor tested at 35 ohms, tank is around half to 3/4 which seems right. The gauge, however, tests differently.
Green [Gnd], Black/Brown [Power], Yellow/White [float resistor]
With the gauge plugged in, and key on, the gauge goes beyond full, hitting the edge of the cluster cover.
With alligator clip wiring, grounding the Yellow/White wire makes it go quicker in the same direction.
Only giving it power [Black/Brown] does the gauge go to empty.

Still trying to figure out what the problem could be. The manual only goes so far, and the only assumption it makes is the gauge is the culprit. Any experience with this problem would be appreciated.

Never mind, figured it out. The labeling originally on the back confused me and I got the ground and power wire switched.
