Looking to add a front & rear wheel stand to the xmas list this year. No spools on any of my bikes, so I'm guessing I need one that can lift the rear from the swing arm, but here's the problem: I have a 94 VFR750, and need a single-sided lifter, and also 4 bikes with the regular swing arm.

And I'd like to only buy one that's interchangeable for all of them.

Front-wise I just need something for use with regular front forks.

Anyone have anything they're using that fits the bill? In the past I've always used a board and blocks and just lifted the forks and placed them on the board for the front, which works, but ain't too stable. Even though I've got center stands on everything, swapping out the rear tire is still quite an excercise getting them under the rear fenders.

The differences in construction between the single and conventional arm stands will neccessitate separate rear stands. Check out TRex Racing, I have been using their front and rear stands for awhile now with good results. The pricing will also allow the purchase of both styles of rear stand at a price that won't break the bank. All three can be had for less than 275 dead presidents.

I've had good luck on my Ducati and Hondas using PowerStands.
    Here's their website . . .

Powerstands Motorcycle Stands, Powerstands Motorcycle Front and Rear Stands - Buy Now or Read Reviews

I like the models that allow the handle to come off because I also use a Handy
motorcycle lift and it's nice not having the handle stick out.

PitBull stands are pretty much the bee's knees.

Spike, you are right. I just sold my PitBull front stand on Craigslist. They are extremly well built.

However, I don't think they have a rear model where you can remove the handle. In my case that was

necessary while my bike was on the Handy lift. The other factor is sometimes I put a Ducati bike

in a show and I like the look of the chrome. For sturdiness PitBull wins.

they do have a model where the handle goes towards the front instead of the back, if that makes a difference for you...

    Saw this:

Black Widow Single Sided Swing Arm Stand

I'm looking at the black widow single sided swing arm stand from discount ramps.com if the link is bad.

Anyone know if the rear wheel center for a 94 VFR is 28mm or 31mm? They sell the pins separately.
