Does anyone know of a straight forward replacement for the standard vfr 800Fi front indicator units?
The standard fitments are a bit bulky and not very aerodynamic, I do not want to have to start cutting and bodging. Any offers please?

    8) Try Lockhart phillips. They have a full line of replacement lights. Try flush mounts.

I haven't found any that will fit, because of the odd shape of the stocker and the way it's inset into the cowl. I ended up cutting some aluminum to fit. I can run screws through it to a nut ont he inside of the cowl and then mount the LP light to that. The only problem is that the aluminum piece isn't the same color as the body work, obviously. And the two colors of red vinyl I have available are both off just enough to be noticeable. Red is such a touchy color :-/. I was gonna do some sort of graphics in vinyl and use that to cover the fill-in piece, but I think that's about the only way to make it work.

The latest fjr1300 has a similar blinker with a clear front and the rear is part of the body work.It looks heaps better and wouldn,t be a hard adaptation.
