I have a 2006 VFR 800...(Canadian Version)......it did not come from the factory with a front fairing 'VFR' decal.....just the 'Interceptor' decal on the rear fairing covering the mufflers. I am seeing pics of some 2006 VFR's with the front decal and some without....can anyone shed some light on why some bikes have this and some do not..??....Is it country-specific..? I have been asked by some people, 'has the bike been in an accident'...?....because it does not have the front fairing decal. I am the original owner and the bike has 5500 KM's on it....never been down, not a blemish.

You're the original owner of a 2006 VFR800 and this is your first post to VFRWorld?!! Where have you been?

To answer your question, I just did some quick searching to confirm it, and it appears that all 6th gens in Canada (like the US) were called Interceptors and did NOT come from the factory with VFR decals up front. On the rest of the planet, they are only called VFR and have no rear interceptor decals. All of the pictures I could find of Canadian 6th gens with VFR decals, appear to be aftermarket....not at all like the thick, silver VFR decals that the Euro bikes have from the factory. I could be wrong, as I can't exactly see a shot of every 6th gen in Canada as it rolled off the boat, but that is how it appears to me.

If you want real Euro style, 6th gen VFR decals, they can be found online from various Euro Honda dealers (I put a set of these on my 2014.... http://www.cmsnl.com/products/mark-vfrtype1_64220mcwd80za/ )
