What's the best sequence? I want all the plastic off the front including the screen... so the bike has no screen or panels on it at all. Manuals cover some detail, but no where I can find do they give you an overall sequence..

It looks like top to start with, but I could be wrong (VFR 750 V 1997)

    thanks

    Working from memory here:
    Middle sections (L + R)
    Lowers (black bits)
    Front middle lower v-shaped bit
    Mirrors
Upper. Upper needs mirrors removed but can be removed either before or after the windshield, again this is all from memory and I haven't had it all in bits for a while. Someone will chime in and correct me I'm sure :)
Also, as I recall this is not so much the best way, more like the only way. Though it might be possible to start with the top, I think because of the way the mids clip onto it, the top should really be last.
Be sure to undo the wiring from the top, and remember the headlight is heavy and attached to it...

side panels first, then mirrors and screen and then top section in one piece, no need to remove lowers unless you want to. agree about the headlight being heavy, be careful
