from crashed to ummm... slightly less crashed

how goes it every one. i just stumbled across these forums searching for a tail section for my 86 700f2 and thought i might sign up and mabye borrow iformation when i could. this type of bike is somewhat new to me, growing up on cruisers and eventually buying my own vulcan mean streak but i really like this little semi streetfighter for some reason




i got it in this condition








and with new headlight donated from a 81 cm400t and some wire re-routing to under the tank




i currently am awaiting a tail section that is on order and i am trying to figure out a way do make a decent mini-faring (emphases on mini) to go from the back of the headlight housing to cover up the hidieous hindend of the guage cluster. Then ill figure out what im doin as far as paint.

 

Check out the last Gen. Honda Magna Bikini Fairing. May take some mods to work - but it says "Honda" on the front.

 

I would probably just mock something up and make it out of glass just enough to cover the gauges a bit.
