I am wondering if there are any companies making frame sliders for the 6th gen VFR's, & how many different styles/types are available. If anyone knows or has a link to purchase or view some I would appreciate it. I have been fortunate enough that the times my by has gone on its side it was just a simple tip over just enough to scratch the paint in some tiny spots. I want to get some frame sliders for that "just in case" incedent which hopefully will never happen. Thanks!

They are out there. Some involve hacking plastic, and customizing the spare coolant bottle. Another uses a bracket that pokes the slider out of the holes for the radiator, it seems to put the slider too far forward.

I've been interested in these myself. Has anyone here had the misfortune of testing frame sliders on their VFR?

Hell yeah, mate... This is what I've been looking for. Most of the sliders here require cutting, which is something I'm not prepared to do since my bike's still spanking new.

Dude, any idea how much it costs or any Oz online stores which sell 'em???

Thanks for the link! I do like the look of them, but the design concerns me because of the way they mount. If they bike were to go down, it looks as though the way they have done the mounting bracket that it would damage the radiator from the impact. I am not too woried about cutting into my plastics, as long as the finished product looks and functions the way I want it to. I think if you were to go down hard with these ones, you would be disappointed with thier performance. From all the ones I've seen go down, the best ones mount directly to a frame point rather than using a bracket. Any more info on different ones would be great!
