Frame Sliders Gen 6

Ok I want frame sliders on my VFR and do not want to cut up the coolant reservoir. I have VFR frame sliders from MotovationUSA, http://http://www.motovationusa.com/mvstore/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=18. I am trying to find out if anyone here has used the Motovation frame sliders with the GSG replacement coolant reservoir TwistedThrottle.com : GSG-Moto Replacement Coolant Reservoir (Honda VFR800 VTEC, '02-) - MOK.WKH18 or the R&G Racing replacement coolant reservoir. Also since the reservoir is smaller are there any overheating issues? Does anyone else make a replacement coolant reservoir for the VFR frame slider setup?

 

the R&G kit is the best one out there.
A member did the motovation kit and did the coolant mod w/ ease as per instructiond=s on the moto instructions.
no over heating issues w/ either one.

 

I have R&G sliders on my 5th Gen VFR with the coolant reservior modified - done by the original owner. I got a set of the Motovation USA sliders locally from a MC member and I want to use them on an 05 VFR. I am only checking to see if the GCS or the R&G replacement coolant reserviors fit with the Motovation USA frame sliders.

 

they should, just measure the outside DIM of the sliders you have and double ck on thier web site.

pic of bottle. take a look and as long as you are mounting it to where they show in this pic, you are golden

 

R&G uses a coolant bottle that has a notch in it, so it should work no problems w/ what you have

 

note, motovation uses a different location to mount the slider so the motovation bottle would not work.
