    Hello.
I am looking for frame sliders for my 2007 RWB after I laid her down on the left side in my garage:crazy:
Only left side mirror needs to be replaced, but lern the lesson to look down to make sure side stand is out.
Where can I buy those sliders?
I check forum but was not able to find the tread.
    Thanks in advance,
    Gino

    i got mine from Motovation
they're solid and promise to support your bike should you have a fall over unlike some other brands that mount in front of the radiator which i'm sure will merely bend over and provide no protection whatsoever. it's a bit nerve racking cutting into your side panels knowing one miscalculation and you're out and whole bunch of $$$. you also need to "mod" your coolant reservoir tank by cutting a hole the size of the slider through it. there is a company out there that makes a smaller tank but i've heard some people that go that route operate at higher temps. it's your call. here's a how to link on VFRD. but in the end the Motovation sliders look great.
    good luck

that's fine, it's not a bra anyway; it's a tank protector. it's by a french company called Bagster (Baglux in the UK) not only is it a tank protector, your tank bag securely mounts to it in 4 places replacing magnets which can and will eventually scratch your tank. the system is a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. i believe you can get them in the US now. i imagine a web search should provide some results.

Exactly how does a smaller reservoir result in higher running temps? That doesn't make any sense to me. All the reservoir does is store the extra coolant that it spits out when its hot and draws it back in when it cools down, it doesn't even fill or draw in that much either.

Probably the guy that did it drained his coolant when swapping to a smaller reservoir. When he filled it back up he more than likely had an air bubble in the system.
