4 years. Ya don't say. I recall being put on stand-by to receive patients being evacuated from the gulf states. I was in central Kansas at the time. The town did receive some of the displaced residents, but not patients. It was an interesting time. Many associates both military and civilian went to help. Churches and civic organizations donated money and supplies. There are alot of stories of bad things that happened before and after the storm, but many many stories of wonderful things and miracles too.
