What was MCN's criteria for "Best Built" in their poll?

BTW, number 3 should have been number 1.

Good point. Honda has always had good fit and finish, but Best Built almost sounds like somebody remembered to put on all the parts and tighten them enough so that they don't fall off. Which I guess, anymore, is saying something.

The "real" poll ( my little old opinion ) of all bikes longevity & quality, not just sport bikes> 1) BMW any transposed twin all years, 2) VFR any year but the 1st year , 3 ) VT 1100 Shadow all years 4) CB 750 any year, 5) CBR 600 all years.

2 of my 3 bikes (real bikes, not little 50's) are in the top 10. All Honda. Bulletproof.

The poll was in the UK. I had a CBR600 and still have my XX and both no problems, well built and great bang for the buck. The warrantee surveys were least claims (1) Honda, (2)Yamaha, (3)Kawasaki and Suzuki in fourth and from the Suzuki's I've owned and a few friends I see why it was fourth.
