I am ready to reinstall the forks on my VFR750F and have a question for those of you using F2 wheels. Do you align the grove in the forks with the top of the fork bridge, the stock setup?

I did a quick check and the diameter of the F2 wheel/tire is just about the same as a stock 86 VFR750F.

    Stock 110/90-16 = 19.89” diameter
    F2 120/60-17 = 19.83” diameter

The rear stock wheel/tire is about 1 ¼” taller then the F2.

    Stock 130/80-18 = 22.04” diameter
    F2 160/60-17 = 20.77” diameter

I have the modified rear shock from Cobalt, the one with the longer lower joint. I doubt it makes up for the 1 ¼” drop from using the F2 rear wheel. I’m just curious how much others are dropping the bridge on the forks when using F2 wheels.

    Thanks,
    Wayne
