I joined the Honda Rider's Club of America and it saved me $30 on my policy! It literally took me 5 mins to register. Easiest $30 bucks I ever made/saved...

I'm with Allstate. I'll be making a call tomorrow. I remember getting a quote from State Farm and she asked if I was apart of any clubs.

Been with Progressive for eight years until this year, my policy went from $290 a year for three bikes to $670.......no reason......had to have my broker change to Geico and is $270 now.......same thing for my car policy.....can only figure it is a California thing.....if someone knows why that is I am all ears.....just glad I caught it because I thought it was my car insurance because of the dollar value and almost paid it.

My guess would be they throw it out there to see if you just pay it and don't ask questions. ... I'm sure a good handful of people would just pay it and not pay attention to the difference...

My premium (full coverage - liability, collision, comprehensive, etc.) just went down again this year and is now $186.00 annually. Are you saying I can get another $30.00 off that? Really? Wow!

I did the same over a year ago with my Progressive insurance. When I got my first Honda I thought that you had to pay to be a member but later on I learned that you weren't. After that I joined HRCA and went online to put in my HRCA # and get the discount but couldn't find it. I called them to have it taken care of and they said they didn't even need a number to confirm it and gave me the discount.

I just switched over from State Farm to Progressive. I'm not really sure I'm getting anything for less as I live in AZ and the motorcycle insurance is about twice as much as in Oregon. Progressive is one of the least expensive insurances for me in AZ though.

They did the same thing to me. My rates doubled with no valid reason so I jumped to Nationwide which was actually LOWER then my original Progressive policy. I guess Nationwide is really on my side

For anyone that is getting progressive, make sure you toy with the options a bit, I found out that my policy did not change price for some major changes, including roadside assistance with trip interruption. Not that you will need that stuff, but for no added costs you might as well stack it up!

Thanks Candy for starting the thread!
