I have a 1984 VF700F. Just cleaned, rebuilt carbs - have a constant leak on the #3 carburetor intake. New float valve - leaks no matter the float height adjustment. Only leaks when bench tested using the fuel pump; doesn't leak with just gravity. Any thoughts?
    Thanks

Does your float, float? How is the seal that the rubber cone bears on, smooth and shiny?

As an experiment, i'd switch the needle and seat to a different carb to see what happens.

I'd suspect the seat... mine did this 3 times before I just switched all the seats and floats around & it cured itself ..
