I got my 2 new float seat, washer, and pins today. Problem is that the washer is only half as thick as the oem. This is going to raise the floats slightly putting a bit more gas into the carb. how much difference will this make? will the 2 carbs be running too rich? Do i need to ajust the carbs. they are still synced. I didnt take the carbs appart, took the whole assembely off.

If I do have to ajust the carbs. How do i go about doing it.

    thanks

    he's right!

but first lightly sand the old washers on fine (600) sandpaper.

    check float heights, of course.

    Huh?

Your bike's carbs didn't have any washers to begin with?
