Looking to purchae my first VFR and have rookie questions.
There does not seem to be many differences between 2004-2005-2006 bikes unless you get ABS. Any feedback on year that is better than next.
Never ridden a bike with ABS is it worth the $1,100.00.
Is ther after market under seat exhaust with a better sound?
Does stock exhaust sound better after it is broken in?

Search forums with the term 'exhaust' and you should find more info than you want about your choices.
I think the general concensus on ABS was : it's worth it if you ever need it. There is at least one member who says it saved him.
I personally think an exhaust usually sounds a little better as it gets broken in, but some of them are so free flowing I'm not sure it makes a big difference. My opinion on the newer vs older question is usually if you save a great deal getting one a couple years older, you can be better served investing in good gear (protective, bags, etc) and on rider ed or track days. fun stuff.
