First time VFR owner has a question

    Greetings all,

    The good news is I'm a new (as in yesterday) VFR owner.

    The bad news is the gas tank leaks. I've pulled the tank, fixed all the pinholes but have found the fuel level sensor gauge hole is rusted badly. I think it's beyond repair. (I've been welding/grinding/welding/grinding for a while now, doesn't look promising)

    Where would be the best place to find another tank. Preferable used, but any suggestions on a decent priced new tank are welcome.

    depends on how old the bike is, but ebay would probably be where to start. there is a classified section here also that you can try...

    what Reg said, EBay my man. or hit up other vfr sites classified sections, Sac cycle at 877-849-0982 may be of some help too.
