I purchased my first VFR last month, a 2004A new out of the crate. I've recently been on BMW's, but have owned all four Japanese makes over the last 30 years. Looking forward to helpful hints and conversation.

    Thanks,

    Marty

Hi Marty. Welcome to the group and congrats on your purchase. Best advise I can give is to take your time and learn the characteristics of the bike. They weigh about 500lbs and in my case, chaging from more of a cruiser type bike to the VFR, it was a learning experience in how it turns and ride in general. Not sure what "type" of bike you are used to, sport bike, cruiser, sport tourer, etc. It took me a litle while to get used to the weight.
