hi, i'm phil from austin, tx. just got a good deal on a clearance 25th anniversary interceptor at woods. this is my third mc after a 5 year hiatus after my 97 zx7r was stolen. my first bike was an early 90's katana 600. i've enjoyed browsing your forum as i try to learn more about the interceptor. I choose this bike after considering the other sport touring options out there. this bike was a nice fit for me learning more toward the sport side of the sport/touring equation. i'm considering the hard bags so the wifey isn't backpacking it and the write ups and photos posted have been a great help. I noticed in a lot of the photos the piece that fits over the passenger seat has red trim; mine is plain white. Is that aftermarket or custom? looks sweet. getting used to the vtec and am a bit disappointed with the hesitation in the low revs. unfortunately, rolling around town I find myself in that rev range. i've always been a fan of torquey smooth powerbands through redline, but I'm sure in time i'll get used to it. looking forward to exploring the texas hill country on my new vfr. ///Phil <img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2027/2331953798_ce61028f21.jpg?v=0">
