Sappenin y'all?!?!?! The time has come to perform my first chain and sprocket job. I ordered this set from sprocket center this evening. Sprcket set!! I wanted to see if any of you guys have the tools and some time on a weekend to drink some beer and help me do my first one. Otherwise I'll just order the tool from Ebay for 50-60 bucks and try it myself at home. PM me if anyone is interested...

Nah, My bike is mostly commuting, every once-in-a-while twisties but not often so I wanted to keep my MPG. Thanks for the future tip though...

Really that sucks...mine bolted right on. No problem. I'd come over and drink some beer but it's kind of a long way for me. I'm sure you've already found this tread but here it is... http://vfrworld.com/forums/mechanics-garage/21882-first-timer-chain-sprocket-swap.html

One word of advice, when you pull the front sprocket cover off don't let the clutch slave cylinder separate or you will be learning how to bleed your clutch. It's not hard but it really pisses you off when you're 7 beers deep into a chain/sprocket swap. Good Luck!:cheersaf:
