Finally got out on this 62* day, first real ride in a long time, met up with a local PNW rider on a R6 and even though we never went further than 20 miles from our house, we still hit some pretty good roads...

Famous Dewatto twistys, camera was on the wrong setting and it almost looks haunted

Break time, notice the road color, wet

Washington riders know to look out for these road conditions

Wish this guy never wanted to do a bike switch with me, after feeling his R6's suspension, brakes, 376 lb dry weight and pure effortless cornering ability, it made me want a 1098 again for my 2nd bike, but the reality check was, his seat felt like a 2x4 and my body said what the hell are you doing to me! Just confirms that the VFR is still the best all around bike out there...

Cool. I'm glad you got to ride. I got out today also. temps hit the 80s out here so I did a coastal run. I'll try to get a write up done soon. I snapped a few pics.

The guy I rode with yesterday was 22 with his first bike, He never heard a V2 before let alone a V4, he could not get over the sound that came from the V4 and every break we took the first words out of his mouth was something about the V4 sound being so intoxicating...
