Late last year, I had a little mishap with the Viffer. Fell over in the garage, and the tail light hit the footpeg of my ZRX and shattered into little bits. Since I have a total of 4 bikes I've been lax at taking care of the VFR. Well, I put my 2010 Ninja 250 up for sale, Started the restoration of my 1970 Moto Guzzi Ambassador, and with the VFR down, all year I've been riding my ZRX1200R. I love the big beast (92 ft lbs torque), and riding it exclusively, I've fallen in love with it all over again. But, in the back of my mind I remember how the VFR (5th gen, '99 Red) stole my heart away from the ZRX. SO FINALY, I ordered a new taillight, bought a new front tire, cleaned it up big time, changed the oil and filter, and last night put it all back together. My son and I worked on it, and had a few brews, so I declined riding it (started right up, after sitting since Sept.). 40% chance of afternoon showers, so didn't ride it to work today either. CAN'T WAIT, but I'm taking it out tommorrow, for a looong get reaquainted ride. Son will go with on the ZRX. I'm stoked, and I think I'm going to
lose my heart again......to my VIFFER!
