so after trailering the VFR to MotoGP in indy (only way to bring the dog), i continued to NY/NJ for family and friends visiting. I got my MC license after moving to colorado almost 20 years ago and never rode any of those scenic twisty 2 laners before.
found the Bear Mountain Park just north of NYC on a sunday morning was popular with riders (and Chinese sightseers). the ride down from Cold Spring was good and up 9W to highland was good up until the R/R failed and found myself bump starting when i couldn't blip the throttle enough to prevent stalling. of well-another project. bear mtn tower.jpg bear mtn.jpg

Forget it. On the East coast you need all of, all of your fingers!:smokin:

Try the Adirondack mountains great, rt 108 in Vermont or up around Lake George. Nice area on both sides of the lake. Ever get a chance head for the outer banks off season!

Hope you get more riding in before the cold comes.

The east coast is riddled with fantastic roads; western mass, NH and VT, connecticut, upper NY state. If any of y'all make it into MA, let me know
