I just bought my 3rd V4 Honda, an '87 VFR700F2! I had a VF500 Interceptor about 15 years ago, and I sold my '97 VFR750 two years ago. Back in high school when I had my 500 I always dreamed about having a first-gen VFR, and I finally bought one! It's blue and silver, 39k miles. Cosmetically it's in very good condition for it's age. Mechanically, as far as I can tell so far, it's sound. The engine runs well and pulls strong. It has a Fox shock in the rear, which is pretty cool. It's almost bone stock, other than the Fox shock, luggage rack, and custom seat. The luggage rack is going to come off until I head out on a long trip. The seat looks kinda like a Corbin, but it's definitely not. I think it's just custom upholstery over the stock foam. Looks kinda cool, but doesn't add any support. It needs tires ASAP, fork seals not too far down the road, and at some point a clutch... But that's part of the fun of owning a 27 year old bike, right? Right...? Anyone there??? Anyways, I guess that was a long, drawn-out way of saying "hello." Hello. Jeff
Don't know if a welcome is in order since you signed up 4 years ago, but welcome anyway. Well done on the pics, thats a good looking bike. You clearly know your V4's so not much to add except ride safe.
