I am curious to see some viffers that have been fightered out i like this look but my 86 700 has so many wires and connectors up front it seems impossible to get all this cleaned up to take off the top plastics. Any ideas on cleaning this up. so many curves so little tire.
VFR Fighter Hi, I have an '87 VFR which has been standing a few years waiting for some attention. I have it in pieces at the moment while sorting out the Carbs, and I thought it would look good with no fairing. I ran into the same problem with the mass of wiring that would normally be hidden behind the fairing. Some go to the Fuse box, but a load of others go to the Instruments (or at least thats how it looks in the wiring diagram). As I intend to do away with the clocks and fit a speedo only, and some idiot lights, I think a lot of this goes away. That just leaves some connectors for switchgear. I think the only option here is to fit a small cover/box. Or splice the wiring and put the connectors somewhere less conspicuous. If I ever get that far I'll post some pics. Good luck SparkyB
maybe you could runn all wires inside frame zip tieing them the rest put in small tube therfore only that would show the wires would be hidden...good luck.
