Tried to check through the forums but I didn't find exatly this issue.

    The bike is a VFR 800FI -99
A week back I noticed this the first time driving at higher speeds (motorway) the FI light starts to glow on and off irregulary, when I pull throttle off and engine brakes then it is bright. Again a little throttle then it again starts to glow irregulary. Today it did the same thing.

With sidestand down barely glowing after I have stopped engine running on idle.
Starts easily, shows no signs of power loss. Next start attempt, ignition on the FI light comes on and after the priming it goes off.
Is this now the famous earth fault? Or R/R issue? Any other ideas?

May be a faulty sensor. Check the fuel pressure.

Jumped the service connector and a long blink followed by a long pause, this continued until I stopped counting after 25 times.
I tried this a couple of times with same result, if I know understood the manual correct then this long blink means a 10 which then corresponds to the Pa sensor (correct me if I'm wrong). I followed the steps and all was fine with the sensor.

After this I reset the memory and hope to get riding again sometime soon and see if I get afault code again.
