My buddy Brian works at one of the leading Ferrari repair shops in the U.S., Patrick Ottis Company in Berkeley, CA.

I was there today briefly, and they had this there....

1962 Ferrari GTO. A special one-off car built specially for the 1962 Le Mans race, it has a special 250 P motor that was installed for the 1963 season.

This is the finest example of a 250 GTO I have ever seen.
    Value: $20,000,000!

They are prepping the car for a Concours....and all cars need to be serviced, particularly thoroughbreds like Ferraris.

I attended the Pebble Beach Concours a few years ago and saw one of those. One of the most beautiful car ever, imo. And a very successful race car, as well.

For the car lovers out there, I highly recommend a pilgrimage to Pebble Beach, at least once in your lifetime.
Amazing automobiles, beautiful setting, famous people everywhere (I met and talked to Sir Stirling Moss, one of my all-time heros), and gorgeous women to die for.

The vintage and historic races at Laguna Seca are also not to be missed. Seeing multi-million dollar cars, from virtually every era, racing (yes, actually racing, not just circulating) is something I'll remember the rest of my life.

Nice photos dude, Ha remember one year in Monterey there where all these older vintage race cars all over the place. I mean they're are being drove around causing traffic jams from lookie loos, figured it was from an event at Laguna Seca going about. turned out there was a car show on one of the fairways there in Pebble Beach off 17 mile dr., was quite the scene.

It looks like this is just prior or just following the Moet & Chandon Ferrari GTO meet in California. It's featured it this month's Cavallino magazine.

I believe 17 of the original 36 GTO's built from '60-'64 were at this event. Seeing as how the value of these cars is between $12M and $20M, that's a lot of dough in one place.

    My blood runs Rossa Corsa...
