It's all here in SoCal and in one piece, 51K+ miles and titled.
Not sure what's the best way to go, part out or sell out right.
It has started for me and idled a few times but needs a S-load of TLC...I don't think I got it in me.

Let me know what ya'll think...offers entertained...

    What he said^

Can I get dibs on the gas tank and clutch slave cylinder if you do decide to part it out? :D

You can shoot me an email at "skelitalrock *at* hotmail.com" if you are going to part it out, as there might be a couple other parts I need.

I'll keep you guys posted. I'm going to check the petcock mod first, see if I can get it to run.
Not afraid to pull parts and all, probably just like to sell as complete if possibly.
    Send me your offers anyway.

Honestly, I've yet to see a bike sell for more in parts than it would whole. Take into account the hours it would require to disassemble, box up, etc etc etc I just don't think it's worth it. A complete 85 VF500 is worth at least $300, probably more like $500-600 if you can show that it runs. I highly doubt that you could get that much for it in parts.
