feeler guage

    Just bought a standard toolkit off flea bay as mine was not complete can any body tell me what the little feeler guage is for measuring?

    The feeler gauge is to check clearance between the front brake disc and the caliper bracket. Look at your owners manual where it shows how to remove and install the front wheel. I believe that guage is .7mm, plug gap is .8-.9mm.

    YEP, it's to be sure the caliper is centered on the disc......loosen the pinch bolts on the axle --one side only--and adjust as necessary. Bounce the front end up and down a few times.
