I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this tail bag. It seems to come up on a lot of places while I'm doing research on different luggage. I'm looking for something with just a little bit of storage besides a backpack to carry things like my lunch and maybe a change of clothes. I like that this one collapses and stays out of the way when not in use. Do you think it will fit my '84 Vf500? FastPack Universal - The Cycle Guys Inc.
I have one on my Duc and my '01 VFR. Basically it has 3 Velcro straps that go around the seat pan to secure it, which makes it a universal fit to some degree. I've had it for about 6 months and it works great. It holds a good deal of stuff too. Since it's easy to put on or take off, I'll even use it on the '09 once in a while. Mostly for long and/or overnight rides. These are pics of it when I tried it on my '09. Not sure if it's by coincidence, but the cover matches the Sargent seat pretty good.
