I have a 1998 vfr that was high sided due to a collision with a deer. The left side rad was replaced with fan due to being bent.I cannot get the fan to come on now?Fuse was blown due to the fact the old fan was obstructed by old bent rad.does this have a fan relay any help on trouble shooting would be great. Thanks

I dont know about your year but I had recently had a fan problem too on my 2nd gen. Check all of your harnesses, and the switch at the rad., if yours has one. Thats where my problem was.

If the fan is not getting power (and the fuse is OK) its plug is uncoupled or its ground wire is disconnected.
If fan has power but won't turn on, ground the wire that plugs into the thermo switch (with key ON).....

ALL covered in Honda Service Manual.
