    Hi All,

I haven't been happy with the gearshift "clunk" (especially when hot) and occasional missed shifts as standard.

I've only heard good things about the Factory Pro - Shift Star Evo Kit (H42 for 95 VFR)....got one in my hot little hands now.
Will be fitted few days time.

Just wondering, any downside or ppl that have not been satisfied with the hype living up to reality??

Anything to watch out for on install??

p.s. I know the kit has been mentioned on other forum threads, many of which I have read. Any downside?

    Cheers,

    AussieGeoff

installed Factory modified detent arm and stiffer spring many moons ago. Make sure you have the manual as I vaguely remember a part that had springs on either side, if you removed it without a helper, the springs would go into "outer-orbit" of your garage.

I like their products, and customer service is excellent... Think it helper wear out a few pairs of boots on the part where you initiate the shift...Cheers/.
