The rubber grips on my 2014 8th gen are looking pretty tired, from what I understand the only accepted solution by honda is to replace the entire grip with a new honda part which is pretty damn expensive. Has anyone disassembled a factory heated grip? Working on BMWs there are some documented DIYs on stripping the rubber grip off of the heating element and putting on whatever you want over top, am wondering if Honda used a similar construction for 8th gen heated grips.
