    Hi,

I really want a new exhaust to show off the SS swing arm... but I really don't need a boost in performance. Can I get a high mount exhaust and save money by not buying a power commander? Or, will this have a negative effect?

    Thanks,

I have a low mount Staintune on my '00, no Power commander.

Shouldn't be any different with a high mount exhaust.

Should be fine if it's just a slip on/bolt on, if you go with a full system then that's a different story.

As a side note, I got new tires today (had to take the exhaust off) and ran w/o an exhaust. That is so awesome! I am sure my neighbors love me!
