I've got the factory hard bags and would like to put on the TBR pipes. I called TBR directly to ask if the stash pipe would work, and they told me that they did not know. Great. I miss the deep sound of the pipes, and it would help deflect some of the heat off the back seat. I'd really like to know if they fit or if anyone has tried and it worked or failed.

Pic of rear is at http://www.bikepics.com/members/keager/06vfr800/ along with the rest. This is the same pic I showed the technichian at TBR.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but avoid Two Bros. Kinda low end of the quality spectrum. Plus most people I've talked to with them are disappointed with the dead pipe... A few members here not so content either.

The Stash pipe on the TB system looks even more obviously fake once installed then it does in the picture from their own site:

At least the TB Vale dead pipe is a real exhaust can (that's just not connected). It's actually a pretty clean setup:

Neither are worth the price for a half-an-exhaust system.

I'd check into a Micron or Laser for some good exhaust. Staintune obviously for the ultimate noise.

Call Micron's US people. If they don't have the info, they'll contact their euro group and find out the scoop on the factory bags. A lot more VFR's with hardbags over there afterall.

Why not just use a real twin exhaust setup? That way you get the benefit of two working pipes. Like Staintune for example...

yes, back at this again. Never did get any aftermarket pipes - yet. The Staintune - loud? or throaty? What about the Micron or the Laser, or even a blue flame? Any one of those, or any others, have the deep throaty sound? That is what I am after, that is why i like the 2bros so much. Never had ANY problems with them on my 95 CBR that I had - 24K and never repacked.

well, with modifications, I had a set of Scorpions put on it. Quiet, a little throaty, but quiet. Had to use shorter bolts and turned the pipes further in so that the saddle bag holders would still fit. And it is still a dual pipe setup. Tried to get Micron, but couldn't. Shop where I bought them cannot get any more pipes. Must of been the only set in the US.
