Hello there, Ive recently been looking around for a new exhaust but today when i looked at the original i could see this wire/cable going from under the saddle to the exhaust. What does this do and is it needed? I dont know if all slipons have a connecting mount for it and dont want to buy something i cant use. Greatefull if somebody got the answers!

    Cheers!

Thats the cable connected to a servo motor under the seat and a flap in the stock exhaust that opens once you hit a certain RPM (4k? can't remember).

Many people unhook the cable from the servo motor, which allows the flap to stay open at all times.

Some put a small piece of plastic to keep the flap from 100% open so it doesn't bounce around - I did that...

    Good luck with the bike!
