Immediatly after I start my 2004 VFR I get a sweet smell coming from the exhaust. It will only do it if the bike has been sitting for several hours. The coolant level is good and the oil is clear, so I don't think I have a head gasket problem. The stink goes away after it runs for a couple of minutes. I can't find any leaks of seepage around the motor. Any Ideas?

Usually when you get a sweet smell from your exhaust, it could be coolant. But if a super small leak, when the engine heats up, metal expands and seals the leak...? I would keep and eye on all fluid levels, to make sure not loosing any. May take a weeks worth of riding to notice a small leak. Another thing you could try is a compression check on the cylinders, see if there is a low one. Never had an issue like this with a motorcycle, but worked on plenty of cars with simular issues. good luck.
