What are the ergo differences between the 2 generations?

I have a 99 but, when I bought it, I test rode an 03 as well and liked the ergo positioning of the 6th gen better.

Anyone know what the differences are?
    grips higher?
    pegs further down? forward? back?
    seat lower/higher.

If anyone has both and could do a triangulation measurement, that would help a bunch. (seat height to bar height to peg)

I love my 5the gen but would like to replicate the 6th gens ergos.

    Thanks
    Scott

ZAM, add HeliBars and a taller Givi windscreen. Your back, like mine, will thank you immensely at the end of a 400 mile ride.

My 99 isn't uncomfortable...The 03 I rode just felt - well better. I also test sat an 06 yesterday and the same feeling...

I only recently bought the 99 and am amazed at how fast I am getting used to the new position (I have rode an 1800 VTX for the last 17000 miles/2 years) I thought it would take alot longer. I'm in decent shape so maybe that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions - I already put on Genmars and a Zero Gravity DB.
    I really like both.

Having gone from Gen 6 to Gen 5 can confirm you are right the Gen 6 bars are a little higher and a little closer giving you a slightly more relaxed riding position, in my case I just let my body adjust to the change over a little time and now find I am just as comfortable over distance as standard on the Gen 5.

You know, when I rode Brian's 4g it felt pretty damn close to my 5g to me. I think the ergos are so similar between them that you'd adapt pretty quickly. I can't remember if has heli bars or not. I did notice that I was comfortable right away going from VFR to VFR but not from VFR to say ninja. I did notice the power diff between his 4g and my 5g, though.

Ergo wise, I think the 4th gen bars are only about 15mm lower than a 5th and a 6th is about the same higher. The difference are so subtle that you probably wouldnt notice till you've clipped off 500-600 miles.

When I first bought my 4th gen, I thought the bars were so low. I played with helis and gen mars, and then over time I felt stock was best and even later considered finding a way to lower the bars. I'm going to try 4th gen bars on my 5th.
