The bike has developed a slight ticking noise coming from the engine, just like someone is tapping on a can of pop
    Any ideas?

Might want to check in the clutch basket first.

I was about to say cam chain tensioners then I saw the year lol. Does the sound go away when you pull in the clutch? Is your oil clean and do you have enough? If no to both, time to start looking into the valves.

As for my sixth gen, I'm about to replace my cct's for the second time, at 53,000 miles. Stupid vtec lol

53,000 miles of riding to church no less :pound: you can advertise that bike as ridden by a sweet grandmother to the bingo parlor, instead of who really is riding and what they are doing on it, kinda like lucifer.
