    Ok everyone my stator cover mounting area is cracked on my 84 vf500f and it is causing the engine to leak oil. First question is the stator supposed to have oil within its cover or is there a bad gasket there? Second anyone have a used 500 cc engine they wanna part with or at least the crankcase? Thanks. Chris

    I would try your local Honda shop and see if they can hook you up
    with finding a motorcycle salvage yard and there is eBay.
