So, found a couple of pieces of unobtanium on a local bike. Gentleman nearby has three VF750F's up for a trade but in looking at the ad, I noticed one of the bikes has the factory crash bars fitted.

Haven't seen these on the usual places so provided they're in decent shape and not bent or damaged, what is a set with hardware worth these days??

Cool. Powder coat them to match the frame. Or keep them chrome and put some bitchin' hiway pegs, horns, fog lights and deer whistles on there. ;-)

Then he'd have to put a banana seat on the bike too.
