EMGO Miorror fitment on 5th

    1. I am guessing by the horrid way these look with some of the old mounting hardware, that the mounting hardware has to come off. Correct? There seems to be a rubber gasket and a gold plate (visible). I don't like prodding and prying on the fly.

    2. Did peeps use a washer on the 6x16 allen cap screw?

    Not that I'm any help, but do believe the gold washer has to go, as it's what the rubber boot snugs on. being this doesn't have that any more (thank god) leads me to believe the oblong UFO washer goes by-by. Now, too hear just how far off my thinking is next ;)

    There is a rubber washer that is used on the 2000-2001 version. The part number is 88113-MBG-D00. From my local dealer they were about $7 each. I have seen them on eBay used as well. I plan to make some Delrin spacers and add an inch each side with longer bolts.
